Aug 3, a summer classic: Edogawa Hanabi Hoop Picnic

Saturday, August 3rd
3:30 – 10:00 pm

The Edogawa fireworks are a must-see and their riverside location gives us space to spread out early and enjoy a hoop jam before the fireworks begin at 7:15. After the fireworks finish at 8:30, we’ll stick around for some LED and glow fun while the other 500,000 people head home.

All flow arts welcome and there’s no need to hoop. Bring your family & friends and a delicious picnic. Glow toys encouraged.

Where to meet: Iidabashi eki, Sobu platform, middle of the train. We’ll travel to Koiwa Station together and walk about 20 minutes to the river. There is a conbini on the way and stands selling food and drinks. Or bring a gourmet picnic from home.

If you miss the meeting point, look for us around the baseball grounds, north of the hospital, south of the train bridges (see MAP page), but if you really want to be with us, meet at Iidabashi on time. The area is extremely crowded and cell service is overloaded.
