A challenging fitness class for all  hoopers. You will need: 4 hoops per student. A minute-music app (I use Music Hour).  Water!

Introduction

We are going to get hot and sweaty with a bunch of aerobic and strengthening drills.

30 minute cardio challenge.* Set up your music to play for one minute and switch to the next action when the music changes.

  1. Hoop on waist, dominant current
  2. Hoop on waist, reverse current
  3. Skip through, right foot leading
  4. Hoop on waist, dominant current FAST
  5. Hoop on waist, reverse current FAST
  6. Skip through, left foot leading
  7. 2 hoops on waist, dominant current
  8. 2 hoops  on waist, reverse current
  9. Skip through, two feet together (1 hoop)
  10. 2 hoops  on waist, dominant current FAST

Put on a moderate tempo song for students to move to in their natural way. Anything goes – everyone needs a break after that new material section.
